By the way, it wants 1 gig of ram, but I'm sure I can dig that up or come somewhere close enough to it... I've run plenty of computers on less ram than recommended.

Post more information. I know you were working today, but have no idea what you did.
ReplyDeleteI went into my storage to check out routers and switches. I found a good 10 or 12 port 3Com hub that may be fairly 'smart'.
As a rule 3Com has good documentation online, so with the model number you can research how it works internally to treat the packets of info.
